Oil painting: 3 Wanderings (18 x 24)
Like three glowing worlds or suns floating above a dark, earthy landscape. Each circle is packed with bright flecks of red, blue, green, gold, and white, almost like tiny pieces of light gathered together. The lower half is much darker, with rough vertical streaks that look a little like trees, roots, or figures standing in shadow. The whole painting has a very textured, layered feel, and that contrast between the bright circles above and the darker ground below gives it a mysterious, almost spiritual atmosphere.
